Our History

In 1997, Bhurjee was launched by Dave and Jas Bhurjee and began by serving the greater Edmonton area with quality-driven manufacturing solutions for the oil and gas industry. In 1999, Bhurjee acquired its first CNC lathe and established itself as a highly responsive shop, providing production manufacturing solutions to its clients. By 2008, Bhurjee moved its headquarters to a 10,000+ sq ft facility in the heart of Edmonton’s industrial district giving it excellent access to the manufacturing supply chain.
Today, Bhurjee provides manufacturing solutions to its clients in Canada, the United States and the Middle East for a variety of industries by leveraging its supply-chain partnerships around the globe.
Bhurjee has a Quality Assurance policy that exceeds those standards set out by ISO 9001:2015. To support an appropriate and necessary oversight role, Bhurjee’s QA department is independent from the Operations group.
The Process
Through long-term planning and by establishing and adhering to value-driven priorities, Bhurjee runs a disciplined management process which is highly responsive to changing economic conditions and focuses on adopting new technologies to increase efficiencies.
Bhurjee uses a highly advanced enterprise resource planning system which creates detailed procedures around the flow of work through our shop. All data on the job is tracked in detail which ensures that various organizational units in the company are properly integrated and thus reduces errors in our production and delivery, which ultimately results in excellent service for our customers.
